Coming from the illustrious Roshan family, his father is filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, and his uncle is renowned music director Rajesh Roshan, Hrithik was exposed to the world of cinema from a young age.

His early life was marked by unique challenges, including a speech disorder (stammering) and polydactyly (an extra thumb), but through determination and therapy, he overcame these struggles.

Hrithik made uncredited appearances as a child in films directed by his grandfather J. Om Prakash before graduating to assistant director on several projects led by his father. His breakthrough came with his debut as a protagonist in “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai” (2000), which became a blockbuster and earned him both Best Male Debut and Best Actor Filmfare Awards.

The early 2000s were a mix of successes and setbacks for Hrithik, but he experienced a resurgence with “Koi… Mil Gaya” (2003), portraying a developmentally disabled young man, a performance that won critical acclaim and awards.

His dancing skills, honed through years of dedication, have set benchmarks in the industry.

The 2010s further cemented his legacy with hits such as “Agneepath”, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, “Super 30”, and the high-octane action thriller “War”, his biggest commercial success to date.

Beyond acting, Hrithik has expanded into business ventures, including co-founding the fitness brand HRX, which reflects his own dedication to health and well-being. The brand has grown rapidly, inspiring millions across India to pursue physical fitness.
