It won him the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He later directed the sequel “Dabangg 2” in 2012, marking his directorial debut.

Arbaaz expanded into digital content with his debut in the crime-thriller web series “Poison” in 2019, and more recently gained acclaim for his role in “Tanaav” (2022-2024), the Hindi adaptation of the Israeli series “Fauda.” As a producer, he has worked on “Patna Shukla,” a social drama starring Raveena Tandon, described as “a common woman’s uncommon fight.”
