In 2010, Arbaaz ventured into film production with Arbaaz Khan Productions, launching with “Dabangg,” which starred his brother Salman as the titular character Chulbul Pandey, while Arbaaz played his younger brother Makkhanchand “Makkhi” Pandey. The film became a massive blockbuster, breaking several box office records and becoming one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time. It won him the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He later directed the sequel “Dabangg 2” in 2012, marking his directorial debut.
