Ronit Bose Roy, born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, to a Bengali family, spent his childhood in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. After completing his education in hotel management, Roy initially worked in the hospitality industry before venturing into acting.

Roy’s entry into the television industry began with roles in popular serials like “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” and “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,” which significantly boosted his career. He later gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Dharamraj in “Bandini” (2009-2011) and appeared in other notable TV shows such as “Adaalat” and “Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar.”

In Hindi cinema, Roy made his breakthrough with “Jaan Tere Naam” (1992) and received praise for his performance in the critically acclaimed film “Udaan” (2010).
